Asset Investment Recovery & Hazardous Waste Disposal

Certified Disposal: Health & Safety Concerns :

The average life span of a computer is 3 years or less. Unused computer equipment is not only a storage problem, but also a safety issue. Disposal of these units has recently been the target of Federal and State legistrators to protect the public from the lead, zinc, arsenic and other hazardous materials found in these units.
LANtek has contracts with certified Hazardous Waste Disposal Centers for disposal of these materials. These centers are specially equipped to deal with hazardous materials such as nickel cadmium and lithium ion found in batteries, and plastics, glass and other metals. All equipment disposed of through Certified Disposal Centers receives a Certificate of Recycling in compliance with hazardous waste disposal regulations.
