LANtek is a member of the International Association of Electronic Recyclers (IAER) and subscribes to BSI Management System’s regular Environmental updates and publications. This assists us in assessing our internal Environmental Management System as well as, how it may affect our Hardware Recovery and Disposal customers. Along with BSI environmental updates we review on a monthly basis the EPA, RCRA and state environmental policy as well as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and EC Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) in the UK. This continued research is LANtek’s commitment to compliance with legal and regulatory demands and our continual improvement and the prevention of pollution. LANtek will provide environmental regulatory updates that have any impact to your company as they occur. If we identify any elements of your business, which may be impacted by new regulations, we will put in place a plan to immediately address the issue. The key to addressing any new regulations is communication and training of your company's staff. If implementation of new procedures is required, LANtek will document the solution or process for your staff. At this stage, your organization and LANtek will have documented and put controls in place in its operation to effectively eliminate any environmental impact.
